How to Use the QR Code Scanner Tool

Welcome to the QR Code Reader & Scanner Tool – a fast, simple, and private way to scan or upload QR codes directly from your device.

📷 Scan with Camera

• Click “Start Camera” to activate the scanner.
• Point your device’s back camera at a QR code.
• Once detected, your result will appear below the scanner.
• Click “Copy” to copy the result to your clipboard.
• Use “Switch Camera” to flip between front/back camera.
• Click “Stop Camera” to turn off the scanner.

🖼️ Upload a QR Code Image

• Click “Upload QR Code”.
• Select an image containing a QR code.
• The tool will scan and display the result.
• You can copy the result instantly.

🕘 Recently Scanned QR Codes

• All scanned codes are saved in your browser’s Local Storage.
• Your history stays available even after refreshing or reopening the page.
• Use the ❌ cross button to delete individual entries.
• Click “Clear All Recent” to delete your full scan history.

🔐 Privacy Notice

This tool runs completely on your device – we do not collect or send your data anywhere. Camera access is only used to scan QR codes, and nothing is recorded or stored externally.
